Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 go up for preorder at Best Buy

Two of Microsoft'due south new Surface kids on the cake are now available to preorder at Best Buy. Several models of both the new Surface Pro vi and Surface Laptop 2 are up for grabs in multiple colors – including the hot new matte black selection.

Each new device is a small refresh over its predecessor, simply they bring some significant speed boosts to the tabular array. The main upgrade is that both the Surface Pro vi and Surface Laptop 2 now sport Intel'south new 8th Gen Core processors. This lets each perform much faster than its predecessor, with up to a 65 percent performance boost for the Surface Pro 6 and upwards to 85 percent for Surface Laptop two, according to Microsoft.

The 1 big exception to this is the Intel Cadre m3 Surface Pro 6, which appears to feature the exact same internals as the previous Surface Pro.

The other major addition is a new matte black cease. The colour is a throwback of sorts to the original Surface RT, which was available in a blackness finish of its own.
